We strive to make our facility and events accessible to everyone, and we are committed to serving all Minnesotans.
To qualify for our new Explore and Curiosity programs you must be at least 18 and enrolled in one or more of the following: TANF, MFIP, SNAP, General Assistance, Medical Assistance, MinnesotaCare, WIC, Supplemental Security Income, Social Security Disability Benefits, Food Stamps, Section 8, or Free/Reduced Price School Meals. Present any appropriate documents related to the above programs at the Lobby Desk to qualify.
Explore Museum Admission Passes
Qualifying guests receive free museum gallery admission passes and discounted planetarium show tickets ($4 for adults/seniors; $3 for youth).
Curiosity Memberships
We welcome qualifying families to become museum members! Curiosity Memberships are available for purchase at our front desk for $15, and offer a year of free gallery admission and $2 planetarium tickets.

Building is not fully handicapped accessible and there are some stairs to climb. It is small and cannot accommodate large groups. Museum prefers 1 month’s notice for groups. Tours are offered at 11am on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Discount price is $4.00
It is not valid for group tours, paid programs, or specially priced exhibits.
There is a $4.00 discounted group rate for low income groups. Tours must be booked at least two weeks in advance. Normal group rate is $10.00 per person.
